I'm aware that it isn't possible to downgrade from a paid plan to Free, but is it possible to downgrade from a higher paid plan to a lower paid plan, in this case from the Plus Plan to Starter?
Our network has shrunk considerably over the past couple of years, with many members leaving (Facebook is drawing many of them away), and we now have a much smaller core of regular members. It has become very difficult asking the smaller membership to make up almost $200 in donations for the annual Spruz fee, but less than $50 for the Starter Plan should present no problem. The smaller number of members should also need fewer resources.
Is it possible to do this?
A small group of us each chipped in decent-sized donations and it ended up covering the $241 that we needed for the Plus Plan fee plus a few extras such as the chat rooms. We've come to the conclusion that the current plan is the one we would prefer to remain on, as it lets us do what we like with enough space to expand with comfort. Going back to a lower plan would be too restrictive and would leave us having to delete two thirds of our files and two thirds of our membership, which none of us found acceptable.
