The thought of a"slippery slope" which was done to wow classic gold death, honestly does not hold true in any way. It is something the masses feel and may replicate an absurd fear born from mistrust to the company, about. And by business I truly signify the business, the real evil that's Activation's financial side. So unfortunately we'll be repeating some of the very same mistakes with WoW Classic, due to no changes - errors that I can objectively argue for past reproach... Yet after having said all this, I also am prepared to follow #nochanges for the larger good of things, also because I also don't trust the company to become creative and intelligent. This is tale of mistrust and the result of lies, deceit and betrayal.
The company that started out using all the priorities: 1. We make great games, 2. We earn money, have switched this around long ago.Sorry for the rant, but these are things that I had to get off MY torso;)There are many things I won't tolerate from Blizzard and should I see them at WoW Classic, I just won't play. It'll be the push I need to go to pservers. That is coming from someone who beyond all hope possess advocated and waited for WoW Classic for years without enjoying pservers! Comprehend that for a second.
I only had this weird mental train of association between Nirvana to The Man Who Sold The World, which probably many believe is original to Bowie, to #nochanges, to Changes. Oh well.If you want to play with US players and you enjoyed the private server encounter so much, why don't you play on private servers (assuming that you don't)? I've been playing Kronos III a bit, and there are some changes unless my memory of vanilla is off, that I've light's hope northdale gold already discovered. Line of sight, for example. Or talent unlearning costs. But apart from that, it comes really close to what I recall. Depending on how Blizzard implement WoW Classic, personal servers may well be closer to the"real thing".
