Our goal was primarily to raise the awareness of doctors, patients and decision-makers about the complications of diabetes, as well as the effectiveness of modern therapies. The campaign was initiated by the Coalition for the Fight against Diabetes - an organization representing the largest Polish associations undertaking activities for the benefit of patients with diabetes in Poland. The first step was to organize a debate in the weekly 'Do Reczy' regarding diabetes and standards of care for a patient with diabetes in Poland. Expert dialectologists, patient community representatives and decision-makers took part in it.

how often does blood sugar fluctuate

As part of the campaign, we conducted blood sugar tests and the Great Diabetes Test at four locations: the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Development and the Ministry of Sport and Tourism. In total, 1,700 people measured their blood glucose levels and 550 completed the test. In cooperation with the Coalition, we have also prepared a reissue of the "Social picture of diabetes" report - we have developed, among others opinion polls and we asked Poles about their knowledge about diabetes.
