I get that he is new but you're supposed to hit much faster than that he is and once you swipe say right to left in order to The Elder Scrolls Blades Gold slash you hold it down and swipe from left to right to earn a combo attack that does more damage and you hit more frequently so that you boost your dps. Perhaps it since he's currently using a greatsword and that's slower? I've only used one handed weapons with a shield and I've had no problems killing many oponents (except the eldest **king trolls, Jesus I despise them) I can not imagine being so bad off that you can't kill any critters in the jobs and being unable to repair your gear.
Yes I did pay for a few of the OP swords later at The Elder Scrolls Blades so maybe that invalidates my argument but I got a rare enchanted silver dagger from a silver chest which I then tempered to a infrequent (exquisite quality) dagger in my smithy that doesn't still fairly compare to the blade I payed for but it will toxin damage that's kinda the roguish build I wanted to really go for and it works quite well when I use it. Later in the primary quest you'll find a Elder chest (I was able to do the quest with my silver dagger so it is possible to perform it without paying).
I received a dwarwen hand axe that was enchanted from mine that's like the weapon I payed for, I have to update my smithy so I can temper it and it'll transcend the weapon. And you may even enchant your firearms with the tower which makes you able to produce weapons that are great without even the chests so they are not the sole source of loot 2:45. So that is untrue. The guy who got stuck with reparing equipment and such, I do not want to be harsh or anything and maybe he was just extremely unfortunate but I think he was quite bad at The Elder Scrolls Bladess fight and crafting mechanisms and place himself in the situation, that or he is a troll who simply wish to ESO Boosting fire games.
