As tittle says, I miss the Legacy League where you had the freedom to customize your maps and gameplay with whatever league mods you wanted. How about you people? Also the roller-coaster of getting an amazing legacy unique from the Ancient Reliquary Keys was simply awesome. It is very necessary for you to make money in game to prepare for new season of path of exile. However, you can poe buy chaos on U4GM if you don't have enough time to make money.
I was really hoping that legacy was going to be the new standard league. I'd actually care about standard if that happened, and actually would have played off league. Which is probably the reason why they'll never implement it. Can you imagine if we had Legacy mods waiting once people found out how much they disliked Bestiary? That and every league henceforth would have to compete against the full weight of all its predecessors.
I mean isn't every league already competing against breach? Everyone says that it is the best league and nothing has beaten it so far so every league mechanic that's not breach seems like poo. Also I'm pretty sure GGG would like players to still play regardless of if they are playing the league or not, having standard being appealing means you're still playing even if you don't enjoy the league.
My dream is that they would just start a 3 month legacy after bestiary ends and work on something way cooler than bestiary, i mean i @!$%#ed alot about this league, but i think we all forgot how much work they had to do with ascendencies too, before Bestiary started i was actually REALLY suprised they managed to overhaul all of them, so i actually dont mind bestiary and since im a fairly new player (3.0) i know there has been leagues like Bestiary before, its all part of the cycle i guess ? anyways much love GGG.
I think almost everyone was hoping for legacy league to become the new standard. The players who aren't into temp leagues get much less value for their support because GGG spends a bunch of that money developing temp league content that those players don't get to experience fully. Legacy league was a good balance between prior league content accessibility and limiting the amount of active league mechanics at one time.
