How do I require members to upload a profile photo?

i want all my members to upload a profile photo before their allowed to be fully registered. is this possible if so how do i do it?

  • All you can do is ask them.

    Manage site - Settings - Manage settings - Login & registration. "About your site info, add the comment. - save changes.

    Or use the Rich text editor box, put on your main-page, please use a profile image.

    Search Google image for No avatar, upload one of your choice.

    Manage site - Settings - manage settings - Profiles & Groups. "Default Member Photo URL" - Upload your default image and click save changes.

  • There isn't a way to make them do it before registration, but there is a way to force them to upload a photo in order to use certain features of the site. It involves getting some custom scripting work done.

  • please explain what do you mean by certain features would make them have to upload it? and how would i get a hold of that code and is it css coding?

  • For example, if someone tries to access a certain page, they get a message that they have to upload a photo to the site before they can use that page and it's features, and in return they are blocked from access. It's not css coding, and it is scripting that I right per request, as a custom  development service.
