How do I add a captcha to my contact form on my website?

Hello.  I'm new in spruz.  I've started developing a community website about a month ago.  I've added a dynamic page to serve as a contact form.  I've recently been receiving an increasing number of spam entries on the form with clickable links that are most probably malicious.  At first I would just directly mark them as spam or delete them outright, but it's becoming cumbersome.  I am also worried that in the future, the security of my site might be compromised by this.   I hope I wouldn't have to take down that page just to avoid that eventuality.  Placing a captcha as an added security measure from spam bots and that like was something that came to mind.  How do I do this properly if it is at all possible with the contact form element?  Also, if you have other suggestions in keeping the site very secure, I would greatly appreciate it.  Thanks.

  • I have just thought of a practical solution for the moment.  I've made my "contact us" navigation link into an external link redirecting it to the contact page of my personal website (which is not a spruz site).  My contact form there utilizes captcha by default.  So I now feel much more secure in that regard.  I however think that it would really be a good idea for spruz to also add captcha onto the contact/email form element for the benefit of all spruz clients .
