Cancellation Of Individual Memberships

Recently I had a member leave due to personal reasons.  Unfortunately, she could not remove herself.  She had no option available to do so.  In order to remove her, I had to do it.  Did I do something wrong?  Or don't the members have the option of leaving a community independently.  I've tried to figure this out but I'm lost.  Thanks in advance for your help.

    There isn't an option that I'm aware of for members to remove themselves.

    Whew!  Randy, I really appreciate you coming in with clarification.  I was thinking to myself that I must have missed something or clicked something I wasn't aware of.  Now I can sigh a sign of relief.  At least until the next time:-)  Thanks again!
