Bot Protection

I have noticed that on the Login & Registration page there is a new section for Spam Registrations. What do they do? What do the Bot Protection Options do?

I have had many a bot register for my website in the past few days/weeks and I am wondering why. I have the captcha enabled so shouldn't that make it hard for a bot to sign up for my website?

When I go to the Settings page, I have the following that I have the question about:

Above is how I have it set up on my website at this moment in time. What would those options do for my website? Can spammers still get around those options and get onto my website?

When they say "Completely Block/Manually Apple accounts that are detected as possible Spammers," what do they mean by that? What does Spruz consider "Spammers"?

Thank you!

I not 100% sure what criteria they are going by with the "block spammer" approach, but you could ask them in a support ticket and they'd be able to clarify better.

I know China being blocked could be a possibility, as well as maybe not letting people with no IP address register. Those are the two main problems I've seen up to this point at least.
