Adding Friends

As a site owner I have access to "make  friends" of my new members.  As a Admin (9) under my secondary username, I do not have the option to add friends to my list. I get access denied.  I am not on the free account I updated. 

Can someone tell me what I need to do.. our site will go live in a few days and this kink needs to be ironed out as soon as possible.   Thanks for your help in advance. I definitely appreciate it.

    Hello Kraftie. I'm not sure that I 100% follow what it is that you are asking here. Are you referring to the site management option that lets you automatically be added to everyone's friends list when they join, or perhaps something else?

    I think what Kraftie is saying is that as the ADMIN, there is no functionality to invite Members to become "friends." I can't either :(

    Nevermind. I found it. As administrator, you have to go to someone else's member page and click the ADD AS FRIEND link. It doesn't work from your own page.
