For Outlook 98/ Outlook 2000 users: 

1. Start Outlook. 
2. On the Tools menu, select Accounts. 
3. Double-click the MSN Mail account in the list to open it. 
4. Click the Servers tab. If the Incoming Mail text box is set to pop3.live.com, click Cancel, and then click Close. Proceed to Step Two.
