This latest update includes updates for several aspects of the Spruz system.
We have included many bug fixes for many areas, including: the file manager, page linking and navigation, page builder, content editing, etc.
After another attack on a website in the Spruz network that caused some slowdowns yesterday evening, we have implemented another level of prevention against cyber terrorism. This further reduces the risk of this sort of attack impacting your Spruz site performance.
On the feature side of things we have upgraded the file uploader considerably; most notably in the file manager. Now you can select and upload multiple files at a time. Also the new interface shows better uploading progress reports and allows you to cancel individual files during upload. The new uploader should also be faster, taking better advantage of your high speed connection.

We have been working on some really big updates that should be released in the next few weeks. I can’t really give many details at this time, but here is what I can tell you about the updates we are working on:
- Some of our most highly requested features are being developed for the update.
- A main component that is being worked on will add entirely new dimensions of flexibility and customization to your website. Beyond anything we have done before or know of anyone else doing.

As a designer page title captions, or header subtitles, have been something that I’ve wanted to incorporate into the Spruz feature set for a while now. This week we have been better organizing the Design options and making them easier to use, and now we have been able to expand on the current page title functionality and add a caption option.
To set a title caption for your site:
Click on the Design tab.
Then click the (change) link next to Page Title.
Enter the Caption and set the Alignment you want.

The rating system is a new community feature that will help make your site more interactive than ever before. So far we have added rating options to comments, and gallery images. We will be expanding this to other parts of the system as well, with additional options in the near future based on your feedback. So, please let us know other places that you would like to see the rating option.
The ratings work with simple plus and minus system. If the total rating is negative the number will show in red, if it’s positive the number will show in green. When you rate content that a person has uploaded or added; you will be effecting that persons overall rating. Soon we will start displaying a person’s rating on their profile pages. Other features coming soon will be member elements that only display the most popular member, or highest rated over all.
Try it out now; you will see the new rate options at the bottom of all the comments below, as well as any comments or gallery images on your own site.

The latest updates are all about growing and managing your community.
First we have added a new area under the Community tab of your administration for inviting members. This allows you to quickly send out invites, to people that you know, requesting that they join your community. It even allows you to import your address book and choose who you want to invite. Best of all, the user does not need to verify their e-mail address when they accept your invitation; making this process fast and easy for your new user.
To go along with member invites, we have also enabled a new option in your site properties that allow you to set your community as invite only. This means that only people that you specifically invite, using the member invite feature, will be able to join your community.
To make management easier and also to give you a better idea of what is happening in your community, we have released a new site activity area. The site activity page, also under the Community tab, lets you see a snap shot and full reports of specific activity on your site. This includes who did what as well as summaries and traffic reports. This feature will continue to be expanded upon allowing you to see more different activities in the future.
