Free Theme Design to Grow Your Community!
To launch our new design services Spruz will be giving away free custom made themes to two upgraded communities.
The rules to qualify are simple. You have to have the Spruz Upgrade. You need to reply to this post detailing what your community is about and why you feel that a custom theme will help it grow. When posting your must include the domain name of your website. Posts from sites not upgraded at the time of the post will be deleted, off topic posts will be removed. We will select the best story on the 28th of November.
We will then choose the two most compelling posts and will have our graphic designers contact you to start on your custom theme.
As an added bonus the two communities chosen will be featured on the front page of www.spruz.com for an entire week!

Our team of programmers has just released a special update targeted at bringing your Spruz (www.spruz.com) communities closer together, as well as making them easier to manage. An update to your My Account page provides you with a list of communities that you are currently a member of. Next to each community you have the option to go to it as well as the option to leave it if you wish to do so. You also now have the option of setting any community as your home community, which will make your profile default to that community when viewed by others.
Interacting with other users is easier than ever, with one click messaging from your profile page to any of your buddies as well as one click to go to their profile. Just hover over their image to get the options you need or click it to go to their profile.
We have also been working more on the user interface. This update brings a cleaner more refined look and feel to all the dialog boxes.
Spruz (www.spruz.com) communities and profiles are better than ever. As always, have fun, meet new people and send us your feedback to feedback@spruz.com so that we can continue to make the changes and improvements that you are interested in. It is after all you, the user, that makes the system and communities better.

We have added many new elements and themes over the past several weeks. Our newest element allows you to add a member list to your site. The member list will display in real time your site members. This is in the community category in the add element section of the page builder.
Over 30 new themes have been added in the past few weeks. You can view and change your theme at any time by clicking on the red theme library icon in your administration section. Changing your theme does not remove any content or information that has been added to your website.
Remember to post your ideas, suggestions or comments in the Spruz forums. We are working very hard to make Spruz the best community site hosting system on the net.

In the latest addition to the Spruz (www.spruz.com) community, we have recently released a full featured chat client on the Spruz site. The primary reason for new chat client, is to draw the community together and to give the more experienced users the opportunity to help the newcomers discover the power of Spruz.
You can visit the chat client at anytime by visiting http://chat.spruz.com , feel free to create your own room, for your group or to enjoy the live video and voice capabilities of the chat client.
We have scheduled our second live developer chat using our new chat client, this Thursday Aug 30th at 7PM EST. It will last one hour and you all have an open invitation to join us there at http://chat.spruz.com. We will be answering some of your questions and taking suggestions from the community about the direction of the Spruz system and community and we be talking about some new exciting features and improvements coming to the Spruz system in the near future.
